Chemical Peel
Treatment time varies on the patient’s skin type
A chemical peel is a skin surfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to certain areas of the skin to remove the top layers. Chemical peels are used to treat skin conditions such as acne, acne scars, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, irregular skin pigmentation, rough skin and scaly patches, scars and sun damaged skin. This controlled removal ranges in strength, from superficial peels that use mild acids to deep peels that penetrate several layers of skin. After a healing period, which also varies with the intensity level, your skin will be left feeling softer and smoother.
