Your appointments are very important to Skin Care By Calie. Time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. I do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, I respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. My policies are designed to benefit my guests and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele.

Reservations

In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, I recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Certificates may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. I hold this information as part of our cancelation policies and only make necessary charges  to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancelation policy are provided below.

Cancellation Policies and Fees

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. I value your business and ask that you respect Skin Care By Calie’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance.

Any cancellations with less than 48 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. When you miss an appointment with me, I not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.

When you schedule your appointment with me, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.

Tardiness Policy

  • I understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, depending on circumstances, I may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service.
  • Clients who arrive late will be charged in full for their scheduled session, but will receive an abbreviated, pro-rated session. For example, if you scheduled an hour session and arrive 15 minutes late, you will be charged for that hour session but will only receive 45 minutes of treatment for that session, including consultation and changing time.

Age Requirement Policy

  • Spa guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatments without the approval or accompaniment of an adult.

Prices and Services

Prices and services are subject to change without notice. I will do my best to keep my clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift Certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased at Skin Care By Calie or by phone at 203-810-9596. Out of town? Too busy? No problem. I will mail your gift certificate to you. Unfortunately, I am unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced or stolen. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift Certificates must be mentioned when making your appointment.

Series of Treatments

I am unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on any spa treatment series that are purchased. I will, however, exchange them for other products or spa credit of equal value.

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

  • I do believe that every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with me will remain confidential, as will your health history forms.
  • Client lists and email lists are confidential. I do not share my client lists with outside companies.

Gratuity

Gratuities are accepted in cash only. Gratuity is not included in the price of service or packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion.

Return Policy

It is my mission to provide you with the highest-quality of skin and body care products with your services. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day in your own home! In the event you purchase any of my products for home use and find them to be defective, I will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately I cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead a credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or services available here at Skin Care By Calie.
